From October 5-7, 2019, the Hồ Chí Minh City Department of Culture and Sports and the Asia-Europe Foundation jointly held a training programme titled “Curatorship: Concept, Design and Practice” at the War Remnants Museum.
Professor Amareswar Galla, the lecturer and a museum expert, helped the participants devise methods of performing specialized tasks at their museums, utilizing keywords, specific topics and targeted audiences. The three-day course was designed for the leaders of museums under the HCMC Department of Culture and Sports, the Division of Cultural Heritage Management, HCMC Center for the Conservation and Promotion of Historical and Cultural Heritage and the Independence Palace Historical Relic. The course provided them with an opportunity to work together and establish their connection for joint activities in the future.
