On the morning of September 12, 2017, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Branch of the War Remnants Museum held a seminar entitled “Following President Ho Chi Minh” with a report by Director Huỳnh Ngọc Vân - Former Secretary of the Museum’s Communist Party Branch.

This was a meaningful and practical activity to mark the 72nd anniversary of Southern Resistance War (September 23, 1945 - September 23, 2017), celebrate Vietnamese Women`s Day, October 20, and respond to the Youth Union’s Work and the theme of the Youth Movement in 2017 - “Improving the quality of the Youth Union” - launched by the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

The seminar strengthened the education of revolutionary ideals, ethics and cultural lifestyles; reinforced improving  the qualifications of the Youth Union’s members in the fields of History, Museology, foreign languages ​​so as to meet the Museum’s actual needs; enhanced learning and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts, morals and style; contributed to creating some changes in awareness and action to build up a strong Youth Union; equipped the Museum’s Youth Union members and young people with skills in work and communication at the Museum as well as workshops through  practical experiences of previous generations.
