The War Remnants Museum’s “Children in wartime” and “Wartime love” exhibitions travelled to Ho Chi Minh City’s outlying district of Hoc Mon from October 5 to 8, 2018.
The displays, about the lives of children who lived, studied and fought during wartime and people who placed patriotism above their own love life, were shown to 350 students and 50 staff at the Hoc Mon Youth Volunteer Continuing Educational Centre.
The tour was arranged in partnership with the centre to celebrate the 88th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Women’s Union (October 20, 1930 – October 20, 2018).
The exhibitions were aimed at educating young people about the need to treasure their peaceful life, study harder and contribute physically and mentally to the efforts to develop and safeguard their country
