During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh stated:

“The primary front in the struggle against American imperialism is Vietnam,

The secondary front lies within the United States”.

The American war in Vietnam not only encountered opposition from the Vietnamese people and peace-loving individuals worldwide, but also ignited a widespread anti-war movement within the United States, engaging various sectors of American society. This movement manifested in multiple forms, one of which was the issuance and use of anti-war badges.

These small badges, though modest in size, held a significance that transcended their physical form, evolving into symbols of the spirit of resistance, the longing for peace, and the collective desire among progressive Americans to end the war in Vietnam.

At this moment, our guide is ready to accompany the delegates attending the opening of the specialized exhibition “Stories from Anti-War Badges” on a journey back to the 1960s and 1970s, to gain a deeper understanding of the spirit of solidarity and the peace-loving nature of the American people during the war. This experience will also offer valuable insights into the principles of the anti-war movement, inspiring further reflection and action toward a better world.

We appreciate your choice to embrace peace, and we are sincerely grateful for it
