In the history of Vietnam, the moment when the tank entered the Independence Palace remains one of the most emblematic images. However, to reach the day of Victory, the Vietnamese nation endured intense confrontations at the Paris Peace Accords negotiations, fierce battles during the Central Highlands Campaign, the Hue – Da Nang Campaign, and finally the Ho Chi Minh Campaign, all culminating in that historic and heroic moment.

After the war, Saigon was renamed Ho Chi Minh City, rising resiliently from a city recently devastated by war and confronting numerous challenges to emerge as a leading hub of development and integration. This transformation is guided by the motto: “A civilized, modern, compassionate, dynamic, and creative city; Ho Chi Minh City for the whole country, the whole country for Ho Chi Minh City."

At this moment, our tour guides stand ready to present these proud narratives from that pivotal half-decade journey.
