Celebrating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2019) and the 30th anniversary of the All People's National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2019) , War Remnants Museum Branch coordinated with City Border Guard Command Agency Branch, City Cadres Academy School Union, City 19/5 Kindergarten Branch, Ward 3 District Youth Union Binh Thanh and the Youth Union of Nguyen Son Ha Primary School held an exchange program at the City Border Guard Command Agency (Ward 3, Binh Thanh District) on December 18, 2019.
The program is an opportunity for the members of the Museum to exchange, learn and strengthen the cohesion of the members of the Union and with the officers, soldiers, union members and youth of the units participating in the program. Within the framework of the program, the Union organized a thematic mobile exhibition "Soldier today" serving 250 officers, soldiers, union members and young people from December 17-24, 2019.
Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Quang Trung, Assistant Public Affairs Officer of the City Border Guard, said: “The program is a very meaningful and practical activity in traditional education work. The mobile exhibition helps union members and young people of the City Border Guard in particular and union members and youth in general have a closer look at the fighting process and work of our People's Army today. The images are very vivid and specific. Thereby, the exhibition contributes to evoke national pride, patriotism, love for the People's Army; to educate political bravery and belief in the Party's revolutionary cause in the new era of union members and youths".
According to Ms. Trinh Minh Phuong, Secretary of the Youth Union of the City's Kindergarten 19/5, the exhibition helps union members and young people see all aspects of the soldier's life, from hard training to performing their duties. themselves, from helping people to accessing new technologies.
"Hopefully, the museum's themes will be introduced to more people through traveling exhibitions," Phuong said.
