To expand its cooperation with the Hồ Chí Minh City Labour Federation in bringing exhibitions to workers at industrial parks and export processing zones in HCMC, the War Remnants Museum collaborated with the HCMC Labour Federation and the District 12 Cultural Centre to organise two touring exhibitions.

An exhibition titled “Today’s Soldiers” at the An Phú Đông War Zone traditional house (An Phú Đông Ward, District 12) ran from July 23 to 31. The display sought to introduce the soldiers of the Army, who, though living in peacetime, always keep up their spirits for drills and round-the-clock watch, and are willing to fight to defend their country.

“An Aspiration for Peace of Ho Chi Minh” was displayed at the Tài Lộc Production, Construction and Communication Co., Ltd. (Trường Thạnh Ward, District 9) from July 24 to 31, and then at the Nahal Vina Co., Ltd. (Trường Thạnh Ward, District 9) from August 1 to 5. The exhibition was meant to broaden visitors’ knowledge about President Hồ Chí Minh’s aspiration for peace for all nations in the world and Vietnamese in particular throughout his life and career.

The exhibitions also aimed to educate people from all walks of life on national pride and solidarity and mutual affection and understanding among Vietnamese.
