At 9:00 AM on May 8, 2018, the War Remnants Museum, the Argentine embassy in Viet Nam and the Hồ Chí Minh City Union of Friendship Organisations (HUFO) held a ceremony to mark the 50th anniversary of Ignacio Ezcurra’s death (May 8, 1968) as a token of gratitude for his sacrifices for peace.

Argentina’s ambassador to Viet Nam, Juan Carlos Valle Raleigh, Consul Francisco Martin Lobo, Ezcurra’s family, HUFO vice president Nguyễn Văn Mạnh, Hồ Chí Minh City Veterans Association members, and Argentines living in Hồ Chí Minh City attended the ceremony. At the event, the museum received memorabilia donated by the journalist’s family, the embassy and the National Library of the Argentine Republic.
