These tokens evoke both warm and poignant memories of heroes who faced peril and fire with unwavering determination, ready to sacrifice for lofty ideals. Their indomitable spirits remained steadfast in the belief of their nation’s ultimate triumph.
In honor of the 18th anniversary of the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day and the 83rd anniversary of the Cochinchina Uprising on November 23, and the 79th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People’s Army (December 22), the War Remnants Museum proudly presents “Remembrances of Resistance Days.” This exhibition is a testament to the patriotism, ingenuity, and creativity of the entire Vietnamese people, with their yearnings for peace, in their struggle for independence, freedom and national reunification.
Through everyday objects, it provides a unique perspective about Vietnam’s resistance era, aiming to promote national pride, awareness of defense against aggression, and the preservation of peace in the younger generation. It also highlights the path toward a prosperous and harmonious Vietnam
