To promote the “Hải Phòng - The Wave Front” exhibition and celebrate the 62nd anniversary of the Liberation of Hải Phòng (May 13, 1955 - 2017), the 127th birthday of President Hồ Chí Minh (May 19, 1890 - 2017), and the International Museum Day (May 18), the War Remnants Museum, in cooperation with the South Vietnam Student Liaison Committee, held a meeting for the young staff and young union members and South Vietnam alumni in Hải Phòng during the American War.
The meeting aimed at helping the youth understand more about the process of self-reliance, improvement and study of the South Vietnam students in the wartime when they had to live far away from their families and hometowns. Furthermore, it contributed to educating the youth about patriotism and consciousness of struggling against unjust wars, coping with the aftermaths of war, and building a prosperous and powerful nation.
The event took place at the War Remnants Museum from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2017.
