In commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam People’s Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024), and in celebration of the upcoming New Year and Lunar New Year (Year of the Snake, 2025), the War Remnants Museum is hosting a special exhibition of paintings titled “The soldiers are in our hearts.”

The paintings featured in this special exhibition are artistic works created by children who participated in the “Green Strokes” competition, an annual painting contest organized by the General Sciences Library of Ho Chi Minh City, open to children aged 5 to 15.

Through the display of 80 paintings, characterized by the simple, rustic yet highly creative strokes of children, the Museum seeks to introduce both domestic and international visitors to the affection, gratitude, and admiration that the younger generation holds for the soldiers of the Vietnam People’s Army. The exhibition also aims to inspire the spirit of the “Uncle Ho’s Soldiers” generation, helping them overcome challenges and hardships to successfully fulfill their duties as military personnel.
