On October 10, 2019, to mark 50 years of implementing President Hồ Chí Minh’s Testament (1969 - 2019), the War Remnants Museum Party cell held a ceremony for admission of a new member Đào Thị Quê, increasing its number to 19. Through her efforts, Quê honorably became a member of the Communist Party of Viet Nam from then on, and was required to go on probation for one year in accordance with the Party’s regulations. Deputy Chairman of the Hồ Chí Minh City Public Sector Union Phạm Phúc Sơn; Deputy Chairman of the HCMC Department of Culture and Sports Labor Union Trần Quí Bình; Trần Xuân Thảo, member of the Party cell executive of the HCMC Department of Culture and Sports, Secretary of the museum’s Party cell and museum director and all the museum’s Party members and partisans and representatives for the museum’s youth and labor unions attended the event.

Dao Thi Que said:"She was happy and proud to be a new Party member, promising that she would wholeheartedly contribute her modest effort to the development of the museum and its Party cell."
