Welcome the 75th Anniversary of the August 1945 Revolution (19/8/1945 - 19/8/2020) and the National Day Of The Socialist Republic Of Viet Nam (02/9/1945 - 02/9/2020)

75 years ago, on August 19, 1945, under the clear-sighted leadership of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, the entire nation took the opportunity to rise up in a revolt that seized and returned power to the people.

Upon victory of the August 1945 Revolution, on September 2, 1945, at Ba Dinh Square - Hanoi, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, which established the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. September 2, 1945 was chosen as the National Day of Vietnam.

In the Declaration of Independence, President Ho Chi Minh affirmed: "... Viet Nam has the right to enjoy freedom and independence and in fact has become a free and independent country. The entire Vietnamese people are determined to mobilize all their physical and mental strength, to sacrifice their lives and property in order to safeguard their freedom and independence.”

The desire for peace and the eternal spirit of the Declaration of Independence dated September 2, 1945 forever engraved on the hearts and minds of all Vietnamese and this is also a great encouragement to arouse enthusiasm of the young generation determined to maintain independence and freedom.
